    Pretty demos or flat backends

    Most classifieds UIs are either marketing shells with fake data, or heavy backends wrapped in forgettable chrome. Neither earns trust as a real marketplace.

    No ops story

    Listings need moderation, reports, audit trails, and role-separated staff tools — not an admin afterthought bolted onto consumer auth.

  3. 03

    Local market, global craft

    Lithuania-style classifieds need SEO-friendly category deep-dives, category-specific filters, and serious i18n — not a single English template.

  1. Buyer journey

    Locale-prefixed routes, featured carousels, search with rich filters, saved listings, and realtime chat with sellers.

  2. Seller journey

    Auth, draft/edit listings, S3-compatible image uploads, dashboard, and my-listings inventory management.

  3. Trust & safety

    Report listings, moderation states (draft → pending → active / rejected), and claim locks so two mods don’t collide.

  4. Staff console

    Separate /admin auth with RBAC, TOTP step-up, dossiers, reports, analytics, audit trail, and ops tooling.

How it’s built

Engineering and design decisions that make it real.

  1. Opaque httpOnly sessions

    Tokens stored as SHA-256 hashes — no JWT in cookies. Marketplace vs admin session kinds so staff cannot use consumer sign-in.

  2. Reliable fan-out

    Transactional outbox for email and Pusher instead of fire-and-forget — so messaging and notifications survive restarts.

  3. One product monorepo

    Next.js App Router, Tailwind, Radix, Motion liquid-glass UI, MySQL FULLTEXT search, Docker Compose, Vitest quality gates.

  4. Liquid-glass surface

    Frosted panels, motion on hero/search, category mega-menu, and polished category deep-dives — then admin to prove it isn’t only UI.
